About Dr. Riley:

Dr. Kaitlyn Riley is a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) specializing in the athlete-human and animal. An avid sports enthusiast and competitor, Kaitlyn is keenly experienced in the biomechanical and musculoskeletal influences on training and physical development. Kaitlyn has years of specialized experience treating a wide range of athletes including the equine and canine athlete. 

Kaitlyn reacts and designs treatment systems to suit an individual team, taking into consideration history, training, goals, and most importantly CURRENT EVIDENCE BASED TREATMENT’S. Ie the treatments that have been put through the highest level of testing and research and found to have the most significant results in many many unrelated studies using the same technique.

Kaitlyn current runs a mobile private practice who’s services include: Dry needling, Joint mobilizations (aka adjustments), Instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, blood flow restriction therapy, shockwave, and online self paced targeted conditioning programs based on sport specific deficits found through research.

Kaitlyn recieved her doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2018 after 7 years of study and went on to complete certifications in canine and equine rehabilitation at the University of TN in 2019. She is excited to help advance the health and well being of both humans and animals of all kinds. She designed an equine and canine dry needling protocol based off her knowledge on dry needling humans, and is now taeching it to other practicioners via conferences and an online platform starting early 2024. She most recently published a case study in flexor tendon laxity repair protocol in newborn equines and bovines after successfully curing her mini cow’s severe flexor tendon laxity and bilateral avulision fractures of the medial carpal muscles.
